Game Design Document

Design doc or GDD: abbr. of "Game Design Document". A game design document is a text file that explains the rules, mechanics and story of a game that is to be built. The GDD is usually written by the game designer and ignored by everybody else. For that reason, it is also something that I never do, because fuck that shit! Just build a prototype like a real man! (or woman!)
